Useful Stuff

This site is a collection of hints what to find where “in the hood”. There might be much fancier options and much cooler stuff around the city – but this is what you can find in the close proximity of Calle Botella.  And it is useful. That’s why it this chapter is called “usefull stuff”.

Bakeries

There are several shops with baked goods in close proximity. On Placa Pedro just opposite the exit of Calle Botella is a café that sells in the morning the best croissants in the area and you cannot avoid getting a coffee or tea with it – that’s in the package.

If you turn left when you arrive at Placa Pedro there is a patisserie just three houses away from our street corner. Decent home made stuff – and they wrap their goods in a traditional, sustainable and durable way for getting it home safely.

On almost every street you could possible walk in El Raval there is a ‘365’ chain bakery. It is not that bad.

Breakfast

If a coffee and croissant is enough for your breakfast – the bakery mentioned above will be good enough.

On Friday and weekends there is a decent alternative to get proper brunch from 10 :00 – 16:00.
